Demo Privacy Notice

Illustrative demo document

Illustrative demo document. Not legal advice and not a binding agreement.

1. What the demo collects

Nothing is required to explore the demo. Entering the demo creates a local “Demo Explorer” profile with a display name only. No email address, password or payment detail is needed.

2. Where demo data lives

Your demo progress — Quests played, rewards, Quest XP and impact choices — is written to your browser’s local storage on this device only. It is not sent to a server for the demo journey.

3. No location, camera or motion access

The demo never requests location, camera or motion permission. The walk, the heading and the camera view are simulated, so there is no position history and no photographs or video of any kind.

4. Optional full account

If you choose to create a full account instead of the demo, an email address and a display name are stored so the account can be signed in again. That is the only reason those fields exist.

5. Erasing your data

Use “Reset demo” in Profile, or clear this site’s browser data. Both remove the demo profile and all demo progress immediately and permanently.

6. No advertising or profiling

The demo contains no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking and no profiling of players.
